These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fight Society website, applications, dashboards and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Platform for a gym, promotion, company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms. You must provide accurate, current and complete information, keep it updated, protect your login credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your account is personal to you unless it is an authorised organisational account. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and must not share access in a way that compromises the security of the Platform or another person's information.
Fight Society is a technology platform that helps fighters, promoters, gyms and other combat-sports participants create profiles, publish and manage events, discover opportunities, submit applications, communicate and maintain relevant sporting records.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, Fight Society is not a promoter, manager, agent, matchmaker, employer, medical provider, sanctioning body, regulator, insurer, legal adviser or payment intermediary. We do not become a party to arrangements made between users merely because they use the Platform.
Users are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information they submit, including identity details, fight records, weights, divisions, titles, gym affiliations, availability, event details and media. You must correct information that becomes inaccurate.
A verification badge, account status, record entry or other indicator means only that a stated check or workflow has been completed. It is not a guarantee of identity, skill, fitness, reputation, eligibility, regulatory compliance, event quality or the accuracy of all information supplied by that user. Users must perform their own due diligence.

An application, invitation, shortlist, booking status, matchup or message on the Platform is not, by itself, a binding bout agreement or guarantee that an event or contest will proceed. Any binding arrangement is made directly between the relevant parties and should be recorded in a separate written agreement.
Users are responsible for confirming identity, opponent, weight, rules, compensation, expenses, travel, medical and licensing requirements, insurance, cancellation rights and all other material terms before making a commitment.
Fight Society does not currently collect, hold, transfer or guarantee fighter purses, participant payments or ticket-sale proceeds. Any money arrangement displayed, discussed or agreed through the Platform is the responsibility of the relevant users and their chosen payment provider.
If paid Platform features or payment services are introduced, the price, billing terms, taxes, refund rules and any additional terms will be shown before you purchase or use them. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Combat sports involve an inherent risk of serious injury, permanent disability and death. The Platform does not assess or guarantee whether a person is medically fit, properly trained, safely matched or legally eligible to participate. Participation decisions must be made with appropriately qualified medical, coaching, regulatory and professional advice.
Fight Society's software, records, notices and verification features are administrative tools only. They are not a substitute for medical clearance, licensing, supervision, sanctioning, insurance, safety protocols or a properly negotiated bout agreement.
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile information, photographs, logos, event materials, record information and messages ("User Content"). You grant Fight Society a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote and improve the Platform.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and that it does not infringe another person's rights, breach confidentiality, mislead users or violate any law. Information marked or designed as public may appear on public profiles, event listings and search results. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is otherwise handled.
You may report content that you reasonably believe is false, unlawful, unsafe or infringing by contacting us. We may remove, restrict or correct content where reasonably necessary.
You must not:
Fight Society and its licensors own the Platform, software, design, branding, compilation of data and other materials we provide, excluding User Content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit our intellectual property without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
The Platform may link to or interoperate with third-party services, websites, media hosts or identity providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Fight Society does not control and is not responsible for third-party content or services, but this does not limit any responsibility we have under applicable law for services we supply.
We may maintain, update, add to or discontinue parts of the Platform. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of a material change that adversely affects existing users.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Platform, investigate suspected misconduct, comply with law, address non-payment of an applicable fee or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to respond.
You may request account deletion. Our current deletion process first archives and hides the account and allows a 30-day restoration period, after which account information and uploaded files are deleted or de-identified, subject to lawful retention requirements and the limited preservation of de-identified sporting records.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent permitted by law, Fight Society is not responsible for loss caused by a user's inaccurate information, another user's conduct, a third-party service, or a bout, event or arrangement to which Fight Society is not a party. We are also not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the Platform.
Where our liability for failure to comply with a statutory guarantee can lawfully be limited, we may limit it, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable loss, damage, liability or expense incurred by Fight Society because of your unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms or infringement of another person's rights. This does not apply to the extent that the claim was caused or contributed to by Fight Society's own breach, negligence or wrongful conduct.
Please contact us first at admin@fightsociety.com.au with enough detail for us to investigate. We will try to resolve the issue fairly and promptly. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising a right available under applicable consumer law.
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, operational or Platform changes. We will publish the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users before it applies. Continuing to use the Platform after the applicable date means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts with jurisdiction there, while preserving any forum or other rights you have under applicable consumer law. If a term is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed only to the extent necessary. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a genuine restructure, financing or sale of the Platform, provided your rights are not materially reduced.
